I’m a sucker for a winter wedding, maybe because I’m a sucker for a winter wedding, maybe because I had one myself lol. My husband and I will have been married 12 years coming up on the 28th. I am not the photographer who insists on planning out your timeline for you or trying to control your day in anyway. I just want to make your day as smooth and easy as possible. I want your photos to look like you, and reflect your day and how you wanted it. My job is to enhance your special day not make it more difficult. I want your photos to capture the real moments and emotion of the day and not be about working through a set list of standard poses. So here are some teasers from a perfect example of this, a day filled with love, laughter, a whole lot of fun and maybe a smidge of tequila lol! It’s true, I work constantly! However I do only It’s true, I work constantly! However I do only take limited weddings a year because I like to make sure every couple gets the best of me. I do this by making sure that I get lots of time free time with my kids, because they are my world. I want to be able to go camping with them throughout the summer, and support my husband when he races. My family will always be my priority so I will never be a photographer that books every weekend in the summer. This means I can be rested and the best version of myself when I photograph my clients weddings :) Granted most evenings you will find my editing long after my kids and husband have gone to bed. I love this time when it is quiet through the house and I can listen to my favourite music or watch a show ( with headphones) and edit. Saturday I was blessed to witness the intimate vow Saturday I was blessed to witness the intimate vow renewal of Cam & Christina :) Saturday was their 17 year anniversary and well this party had been planned then put on hold because of covid, I don’t think it could have been more perfect that it ended up being in their actual anniversary. 21 years together and 3 beautiful children later these 2 still look at each other like young teenagers in love. And to cap off the evening they shared their first dance that they missed out on at their wedding 17 years ago. Congratulations to my beautiful friends!!!
